Yes, my friend worded it perfectly. I am bursting with anticipation. My favorite thing to do now is go into Kyle's nursery and rock in the rocking chair and sing along to a lullaby CD I bought. Not sure if he likes my singing or not, because he does kick alot with the rocking.... I talk to him constantly. It is a cool feeling to know that I am never really alone now. If I forget a little kick is the only reminder I need!
I can't believe I am only gonna be 26 weeks tomorrow! It seems like things have slowed down. Now that I can feel Kyle moving so much it is so very real and I just want to see and hold him! I know, George said "calm down, we will have plenty of time with him when he gets here." I am not miserable or anything, (knock on wood)I am just so ready! My ankles are not even swollen now and I feel great. Just big,slow, and hungry! LOL! But, pregnancy so far has been fun and everything I expected. I get to rest alot and no one complains about it! And, so many more people talk to me when I am out, just asking about my soon to be baby. At first it was hard getting used to feeling like I am being lazy or letting other people do things, but now I am enjoying it! (guess I better not get used to it huh! LOL!!) Plus, having a little "belly table" can be very convient at times.
So, 14 weeks to go, 98 days of waiting...guess I can take it. In the mean time I just love on and rock all the little babies at the hospital, with the exciting realization that I will have one of my very own soon! Yay!
