Well, so much has happened to our family in the last couple months that I thought I would catch everyone up. I started my new job and I really like it, except I have so much work that it overflows into family time alot, which I do not like. But, when has anyone ever found the perfect job? Jimmy and Natalie got married and it was beautiful! Kyle made the cutest little ring bearer I have ever seen. He was able to make it down the stairs (with his cousin Morgan's help) without falling and then went and sat with his Mommy after he got to the end. He was so adorable in his little tux! I will try to get pics posted soon.
Then, on April 25 George's Dad passed away suddenly in the middle of the night at home. We tried to do CPR on him, but he was just gone. It was a shock to all of us because he had been doing so well. He even umpired baseball games two nights that week prior to his passing. It has been very hard to deal with. We miss him so much and it still sometimes seems like a dream. We are just doing the only thing we can and taking it one day at a time. Our family could definately use any prayers we can get if you wouldn't mind sending up some for us. Then, that same week George's Dad's oldest brother passed away. Next, my little Chihuahua that I have had for fourteen years-Valerie-got really sick with congestive heart failure that same week. We put her on medications for about two weeks, but she continued to get worse and was so swollen and miserable, so we had to put her to sleep last weekend. We have experienced so much loss recently and are just so sad. We miss George and Valerie daily and are just hoping our hearts will someday be able to heal from it all.
George made a big decision this past week also. He applied for a scholarship through the school and found out on Friday that he got it. He will be starting in September to get his Master's and principal certificate from Lamar University online. It will last 18 months and I am sure it will be difficult for us all-especially with it starting during football season and me having this busy job and having to be on call for weeks at a time and trying to be like a "single" parent through it all. But, it will be worth it in the end.
Kyle has been sick this past week. I took off work today and took him to the Pediatrician and they thought he had strept throat, but the culture came back negative so they decided he has some kind of virus. He is getting so big and is so smart (not that I am biased or anything). His hair is so blonde now too! He has this beautiful tan, olive skin tone and then bleach blonde hair. Who would have ever imagined I would have a bleach blonde kid! He talks all the time too! His favorite thing to say right now "Whats that?" and "Where is it?" The most awesome thing in the world too now, is that he tells us he loves us too now! We will say "I love you Kyle" and he will say "love ya!" In fact, he has even initiated it and told us before we tell him sometimes. It just means so much and is so sweet. For Mother's day Kyle got me a new digital camera and as soon as I can figure out the software I will post a bunch of new pics. Until the next post......God Bless you and yours...

OMG, he is the cutest thing, you have every right to say that. I am sorry to hear of all the loss all at once. I agree it all happens so fast and all at the same time. Hope you are well. Good luck with the new adventures with jobs and school. Love, Jayme
