Well, we have been so busy that I have fallen way behind on blogging! This weekend, actually Friday, Saturday, and Sunday George and I were off. He had an appt with the Superintendent at Anahuac and we are very excited about it. She is going to recommend him to the school board for the job. I got to meet Coach Martel (who is the AD) and I really like him. Sounds like he will be a great mentor for George. They have a winning tradition and take alot of pride in their athletics and academic programs. We continue to pray that God helps us make all these big decisions! We have been looking for housing in the Anahuac area, but so far no luck on rental properties. We did find one we would like to purchase and are looking into the details of a first time home buyers program. So, if anyone has any advice on the house buying front then let us know!! We both feel lost about it, but are researching our options.
Saturday we spent the day in Anahuac watching our nieces and nephew play baseball. It was opening weekend and in Anahuac they even have a parade to celebrate! It was really cute. Sunday we went to North Main Baptist Church for our second visit. We enjoyed it again, but did miss Bro.Jimmie. He is the actual preacher we heard the first time, but since has been diagnosed with cancer. He is in our prayers. Then, we worked around the house and cooked out for supper. It was fun just spending time together and talking. Well, that about catches things up. I am still enjoying my job and praying for a baby of my own soon. Hopefully we will get to have our HSG test within the next few weeks. I pray you are all well and had a great time this beautiful spring weekend!
